Pharm.D. Program Interview Details

We are glad you will be joining us for an upcoming Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Program Admissions Interview. We are looking forward to learning more about you and your goals during the interview. The interview process will also connect you with faculty, staff and students who will provide you with insight into Mercer University’s College of Pharmacy and the Pharm.D. Program.

All interviews will be held at the College of Pharmacy on Mercer University’s Atlanta Campus. The full interview takes 4 hours to complete from check in to wrap up and includes lunch with current PharmD students.

Interview Tips

We use a rolling admissions process in which qualified applicants are considered for interview and potential acceptance until the class is filled. Qualified applicants are invited to the earliest available interview date. Space is limited.

Tip #1: Carefully read all information provided to you about your interview.  Let us know if you have questions or need assistance as you prepare for your interview.

Tip #2: While we get to know you better through the interview process, we encourage you to get to know us better by asking questions you may have about our campus, College, Pharm.D. Program, faculty, and student life. Your interview will include multiple components including one-on-one time with a faculty member, a one-on-one admissions review, and interaction with current PharmD students.

Tip #3: Business/professional attire is strongly encouraged.

Tip #4: Give yourself plenty of time to get to Mercer’s Atlanta Campus, taking into account Atlanta traffic or public transportation delays, directions, weather, and other circumstances. Plan to arrive early so you have time to check in and get settled before the interview begins.

Tip #5: If you are using a GPS for directions, make sure you use Atlanta – not Macon – as the city in your GPS. GPS often directs a person “around” campus instead of “into” campus. Please consider printing the information included in the link below (directions and campus map).

Campus Address: 3001 Mercer University Drive, Atlanta, GA 30341. The campus is convenient to interstates 85 and 285 and about 2.5 miles from the Doraville MARTA station.

If you need additional directions while on your way, please contact the Office of Admissions at (678) 547-6232.

Tip #6: Use the Mercer University Drive or Flowers Road Entrance to access the West Parking Lot for parking. The West lot is the closest one to our new Moye Pharmacy and Health Sciences building. You can reach these parking lots by coming in on the Flowers Road side of campus or the Mercer University Drive side of campus (see this map for location visual).
