New scholarships for students entering in August
The College has increased its scholarship pool for first-year students entering in August to $450,000, with a potential of up to $20,000 for the most qualified students. Alumni News
- Reginald Frye, PharmD ’90, is named dean of the College of Pharmacy of the University of Tennesee Health Sciences Center. Dr. Frye comes to from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy, where he is associate dean for faculty development and chair of the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research.
- Amanda Pradarits, PharmD ’13, was promoted to director of pharmacy at Regency Hospital in Macon, Ga.
- Ashley Cole Jones, PharmD ’14, transitioned to a benefits management position with Veracity Benefits, LLC in Smyrna, Ga. as the manager of patient assistance for specialty medications.
Faculty News
Nicole Metzger, clinical associate professor, received 3rd place in original research at the 2022 ACCP Global Conference for “Evaluation of prior authorization approval and patient assistance program acceptance between pharmacy trainees and clinical pharmacy specialists.”
Pam Moye, professor, is appointed interim chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice.
