Research Interests

My research interest focuses on developing a quickly soluble film-based delivery system to deliver small molecule drugs or vaccines via buccal or sublingual administration. My research seeks to develop highly efficient, cost-effective and patient-compliant film dosage forms of vaccines for cervical cancer. Film-based vaccines are prepared using bio-degradable, bio-compatible and non-antigenic polymers. Then the physicochemical properties such as solubility, endurance, tensile strength, thickness, etc. of the film are determined and then ensued by an in vitro dissolution study and in vivo animal study to evaluate the efficacy of the formulation.
