Mercer University’s Pharmacy Scholars Summer Program (PSSP) is a great opportunity for high school students in metro Atlanta to gain exposure to the pharmacy profession. The two-day, daytime program engages students with hands-on experience and learning about pharmacy careers.
You’ll be led through fun and interactive activities by our current pharmacy students and meet faculty, staff, and alumni.
Eligibility Requirements and Criteria for Participation
- Must be a rising high school sophomore, junior, or senior.
- Must have an interest in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences.
Registration Process
A completed registration consists of the following items:
- Completed registration form
- $125 participation fee (submitted through the registration form)
The deadline to submit a registration form is April 30, 2025. Successful registrants will be notified by email of their acceptance into the Pharmacy Scholars Summer Program within a week of submitting their complete registration form including high school transcript.
Participation Fee
Program participation fee is $125.00, which includes lunch each day, instruction materials, laboratory supplies, t-shirt, and field trip transportation expenses.
Additional Requirements
All participants are required to submit proof of current health insurance and signed permission forms prior to program participation (required documents will be provided after registration and program participation fee are received).
