Appropriate Prescribing of Controlled Substances: A Program for Physicians and Dentists
This web-based course is designed to update physicians and dentists in the pharmacology, therapeutic use, abuse and appropriate prescribing of the major categories of controlled substances.


American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Immunization Certification

Mercer's College of Pharmacy offers regular pharmacy-based immunization training for area pharmacists. This training, approved by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), provides pharmacists with the skills necessary to become a primary source for vaccine information and administration.

The last scheduled class is July 29, 2107. Please contact Dr. Chris Klein for questions about group classes.

The registration fee for the day-long sessions is $495 or $395 for Mercer Pharmacy alumni or preceptors. Upon completion of the program, participants receive 20 hours of continuing pharmacy education credit and a certificate of achievement from APhA.
