Dr. Chougule (Co-Investigator) received the American Heart Association Institutional Research Enhancement Award (AIREA) in collaboration with Dr. Raquib Hasan (PI), to study a new antihypertensive drug gel using multidisciplinary strategies in vitro and in vivo.

Dr. Chougule (Co-Investigator)  received an NHLBI, R15 Research Enhancement Award Program (REAP) for Health Professional Schools in collaboration with Dr. Nader Moniri (PI)  to investigate the lung’s oxidative status in response to inhaled medications in patients with severe asthma.

Dr. Chougule (PI) received NIGMS, 1SC3GM109873-01, Support of Competitive Research (SCORE) Continuance Award to develop and evaluate the siRNA and chemo drug co-loaded receptor-targeted nanoparticles conjugated with binding peptides for lung cancer treatment.
