Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Highlights

Take advantage of our unique opportunities

Start Early, Graduate Early

Mercer's unique spring entry point allows you to get a head start on your PharmD. If you will complete all of the prerequisites by December, you can enroll in January and graduate one year earlier than if you waited until fall.

Combined Degrees

Customize your PharmD degree. Thanks to partnerships with our other Mercer colleges, you can earn your Master of Public Health, Master of Business Administration of Health Informatics. Combined Master and PhD of Pharmaceutical Sciences are also options.

Entrepreneurs Wanted

Entrepreneurship is not solely owned by the pharmaceutical industry; it’s found in every corner of pharmacy — community, academia, pharmacy associations and IT, among many others.

If you want to define your path in pharmacy, consider enrolling in the entrepreneurship track in your P1 year.

Earn Your BS While Pursuing your PharmD

Students enrolled in the PharmD program who do not hold a prior bachelor’s degree will earn a BS in pharmaceutical sciences from Mercer University upon completing two years of the PharmD program. Continue on for another two years to earn your PharmD.

Tuition and Financial Aid

Mercer University is one of The Princeton Review’s best values among national universities and is ranked as the #1 military-friendly school.

We believe that the expense of going to college shouldn’t be a barrier. Our admissions department will collaborate with you to create a customized plan that fits your budget. Financial assistance packages and scholarships are available for eligible students.
