What got you into pharmacy?
I’ve always been interested in helping those around me, and I am a huge animal lover. Pharmacy not only impacts humans but animals, too. I love how pharmacy provides a huge variety of opportunities, and there are always chances to learn and try something new.
How does Mercer Mean More to you?
Mercer has a close-knit family feel and a welcoming atmosphere. I love the community at Mercer and the willingness of others to get to know you. Atlanta has always been my home, and Mercer’s location is perfect for my graduate school journey.
What do you hope to do after school?
Currently, my hope is to work in a hospital pharmacy and complete a PGY1 residency. I also have an interest in compounding medications and may explore that route as well. I am excited to continue learning about the career options in pharmacy and find my niche.
What is something people may not know about you?
One of my biggest passions is horseback riding and horse care. I have been horseback riding for over 20 years.
What advice would you give someone going into pharmacy school?
Embrace every moment because you are meant to be here, and never be afraid to learn more and ask questions.
