What got you into pharmacy?
I have always been interested in healthcare and medicine. When I worked as a pharmacy technician during undergrad, I enjoyed interacting with patients and providing them with services that would eventually help them feel better.
How does Mercer Mean More to you?
I loved the campus, the supportive environment, and the school’s diverse culture. It is a place where I have grown both academically and professionally.
What do you hope to do after school?
I hope to become a managed care pharmacist in a position where I can advocate for my patients and ensure cost-effective, appropriate medication use.
What is something people may not know about you?
Many people may not realize that I genuinely enjoy listening to people’s stories and helping them feel heard, which is one of the reasons I am drawn to a patient-centered profession like pharmacy.
What advice would you give someone going into pharmacy school?
Believe in yourself and be your own biggest supporter.
