Bear Tracks: Alumni News and Happenings June 2023

Congratulations to the Class of 2023

To the Class of 2023, it was an honor to be with you for the Hooding Ceremony last month. Again, congratulations and welcome to the Mercer College of Pharmacy Alumni Association! Your hard work and sacrifices to obtain your Pharm.D. degree will pay great dividends over your career.

As an alum, remember the College’s mission – to prepare professional and post-graduate students to effectively contribute to and improve health care through excellence in patient–centered care and research. Please consider donating to our mission by staying connected, serving, and giving. Your involvement will make a difference in the lives of many. Visit our alumni page for a list of ways to stay involved and continue to make a difference in our next generation of Mercerians!

As my term as president of the Alumni Board of Directors ends, I want to thank Dean Crabtree for the opportunity to work with faculty, staff, and others on the Alumni Board over the years. It has been an honor to serve by your side.

Again, best wishes to our new graduates as you launch your pharmacy career. Daily, I am thankful for the gift of education from Mercer; I know you will be, too!

Brian L. CrabtreeHi, everybody, and congratulations on all the accomplishments in this issue of Bear Tracks. Thanks to Edress Darsey and all the College of Pharmacy Alumni Association Board of Directors members for your service and leadership. Upon the recommendation of the Nominations Committee of the Board, Adrian Washington received the Distinguished Alum Award and delivered a fantastic presentation to the Class of 2023 at their hooding ceremony.
The Moye Pharmacy and Health Sciences Building is almost finished! We expect to occupy the building in the fall and teach and learn there in the winter. Many good things are happening and I hope to see many of you at our reception at the GPhA Convention.
